Prize Draw Rules

Prize Draw Rules

Promoter: Rewardaroo Pty Ltd (ABN 21 697 112 191), Brisbane, Queensland.

Last updated: 19/05/2026

These rules describe how Rewardaroo’s monthly prize draw works.

The prize draw is a free promotion run as a bonus for Rewardaroo members and other eligible entrants. There is no purchase necessary to enter or win. Members of the public who are not Rewardaroo members can enter for free via the method described in section 4.

The prize draw is a separate promotional activity. It is not the purpose of, or a reason to buy, a Rewardaroo membership.

1. The promoter

Rewardaroo Pty Ltd, ABN 21 697 112 191, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Contact for prize draw queries: support@rewardaroo.com.

2. Eligibility

To enter the prize draw, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old at the time of entry
  • Be an Australian resident with a valid Australian residential address
  • Not be an employee, contractor, immediate family member of an employee or contractor, or otherwise associated with Rewardaroo or any prize supplier

Some prizes may have additional eligibility requirements (for example, alcohol-related prizes require winners to be 18 or over at the time of prize delivery, and some prizes may be restricted to or from specific states or territories based on applicable laws).

Eligibility for specific draws is set out on the entry page for that draw.

3. Draw schedule

One prize draw is held each calendar month. Each draw opens on the 1st of the month and closes at 11:59pm AEST on the last day of the month. The draw is conducted within 5 business days after closing.

Specific prize details (the prize itself, value, draw close date, applicable state permits and the draw mechanism) are published on the individual draw page on rewardaroo.com.au at least 7 days before the draw opens.

4. How to enter

4.1 Free entry — for members

All Rewardaroo members are automatically entered into each month’s prize draw. The number of entries allocated depends on the membership tier:

TierEntries per month
Starter1
Plus3
Premium8

Entries are allocated at the start of each month and apply to that month’s draw only. Entries do not accumulate, carry over, or compound across months.

4.2 Free entry — for non-members (and for anyone who prefers this path)

Anyone meeting the eligibility requirements in section 2 may enter the prize draw for free, without a Rewardaroo membership, by sending a handwritten entry to:

Rewardaroo Free Entry PO Box [insert], [insert suburb], QLD [insert postcode]

A free entry must include:

  • Your full name
  • Your residential address
  • Your date of birth
  • Your contact phone number
  • A clear statement that you wish to enter the current Rewardaroo monthly prize draw

You can also submit a free entry online at rewardaroo.com.au/free-entry by completing the entry form. The online form is functionally identical to the postal entry and requires no payment, no membership, and no purchase. The form is linked from the footer of every page on the site.

Each person may submit up to 8 free entries per month by this route. Submissions in excess of this limit are disregarded.

Free entries are pooled with paid-member entries and have an equal chance of being drawn. The probability of any single entry being drawn is identical regardless of the path by which it was submitted.

4.3 No purchase necessary

There is no method of entry that requires payment. Membership is not a purchase of entries. Members may use the free entry path in addition to their automatic member allocation if they choose, subject to the 8-per-person monthly limit.

5. Draw mechanics

Each entry is assigned a unique entry number. The winner is selected at random from the pool of valid entries using a verifiable random selection method (for example, randomdraws.com.au or an equivalent independently-operated service).

The draw is overseen by a Rewardaroo team member not eligible to enter. Where state permits require an independent scrutineer, one will be appointed for that draw and listed on the draw page.

6. Prize delivery

The winner is notified within 5 business days of the draw via the email address or phone number on file (or, for postal entries, by the contact details provided on the entry).

The winner has 30 days from the date of notification to claim the prize by responding with the required identification and (where applicable) delivery details.

If the winner doesn’t claim within 30 days, or doesn’t meet the eligibility requirements, a redraw will be conducted within 7 days. The same process applies to the redrawn winner.

Prize delivery details (when, how, where) are specific to each draw and published on the individual draw page. The prize will be delivered or made available in full as described on that page. Where the prize is physical and requires shipping, shipping is included.

The winner’s first name, state and the prize won will be published on rewardaroo.com.au within 14 days of the prize being claimed. The full name will not be published without the winner’s express written consent.

7. Cancellation of membership during an active draw

If you cancel your Rewardaroo membership during a month in which entries have already been allocated to you, those entries remain valid for that month’s draw. You don’t lose entries that are already in the pool.

If your membership lapses for non-payment, the same rule applies: entries already allocated remain valid; no new entries are allocated after the lapse.

8. Permits

Prize draws are conducted under applicable Australian trade promotion permits. Permit numbers for the current month’s draw are published on the draw page on rewardaroo.com.au.

State permit thresholds apply:

  • New South Wales: required for prizes of $10,000 or more
  • South Australia: required for prizes of $5,000 or more
  • Northern Territory: required for prizes of $5,000 or more
  • Australian Capital Territory: required for prizes of $3,000 or more

Where a prize value triggers a state permit requirement, that permit will be in place before entries open in that state, or that state will be excluded from the draw and a clear notice published on the draw page.

9. Prize substitution

If the original prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control (supplier failure, force majeure, regulatory issues), we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Substitutions will be communicated to the winner before delivery.

Prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash unless explicitly stated on the draw page.

10. Changes to draws

Once entries have been allocated to a draw, we will not materially alter or withdraw that draw except where required by law or due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

If a draw must be cancelled for reasons outside our control, all entries will be transferred to the next available equivalent draw at no cost to the entrant.

11. Privacy

Personal information submitted with an entry is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy at rewardaroo.com.au/privacy. The information is used to administer the draw, verify eligibility, deliver the prize, and (where required) report to regulators.

By entering, you consent to your first name, state and the prize you won being published on rewardaroo.com.au if you are the winner. Other personal details remain private unless you give us written consent.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Rewardaroo, its officers, employees, agents and prize suppliers are not liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the draw, the prize, or the use of the prize.

This limitation doesn’t apply where it would be inconsistent with the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.

13. Disputes

Any dispute about a draw must be submitted to support@rewardaroo.com within 30 days of the draw close date. We will investigate and respond within 14 days.

If you’re not satisfied, you can escalate to:

  • The state regulator that issued the relevant permit (Service NSW Fair Trading, SA Consumer and Business Services, NT Licensing, ACT Gambling and Racing Commission)
  • A court of competent jurisdiction in Queensland
